Ever since Daniel and I got married I have not been a fan of our room. There was just stuff in there and right now im all clean freak and organizing and I guess nesting haha. I thought it was time to work on our room. So I found a headboard that I liked and we made it last weekend. Daniel and I cut all of the wood and got it ready and then Liz and I put it all together (Mainly Liz, Thank you So much Liz) Friday night while Daniel was reffing a game. It really did not take us long at all and it was very fun to put together. Then on Saturday Liz and I had a family baby shower to go to so Daniel stained the wood and it turned out Amazing! Way better then what I pictured in my head!
We used cedar wood because it stains a lot better then other wood. And this was a lot cheaper then buying a headboard for our bed. With the whole project it cost about $112.00 not to bad huh. I just cant wait to slowly add more things to our room to make it perfect for us. Next a Rug and a new bed spread haha.
Not the best pictures but they work right. Also the pictures dont even do it Justice.
Hopefully more room remodling to come.
