Daniel and I went on a hike yesterday because it was so nice out side. We went to Zapata Falls it is about 30 min away from Alamosa. The altitude there is 9400 feet! It was a short hike but it was really amazing when we got to the fall. It was still cold up top and the water was still frozen. We were able to walk into the cave and see the falls because the water was frozen, one of the falls was totally frozen and the other had a little water running. It was crazy i wonder how deep that ice was that we were walking on? We brought a back pack with like our swimming suit, our goggles and a towel thinking we were going to go swimming haha yeah right. The water was way to cold.
