Camping!!

This past weekend Daniel and I went camping! I have not truly been camping in years so it was a blast for me. We went to a place about an hour away called Terrace Reservoir. It was beautiful! We were totally alone, I don't think many people go there but it was great! We set up camp close to the rivers edge (too bad the water was still freezing) I will say that we might have been in the woods and what not but we did not eat like it. Daniel grew up camping so he knows all the tricks, we had hamburgers, bacon and eggs, home made chilli just for starters. The weather was not to bad, at night it rained and the wind was blowing like crazy but i loved it. I love the smell of a camp fires and I love being out side and I love the water. On Saturday we hiked up the river a little ways and rafted down. The water was so cold and it was a little windy but we still managed to catch some sun. Poor Daniel got fried. I cant wait till it really warms up in the mt. and then we can raft alot more!

P.S. Our Dodd Family Reunion is this up coming week and I can not wait!! we will be driving to Texas this Friday and we will be going bow fishing on Saturday and then on Monday we will be heading to Beavers Bend in Oklahoma! I love TEXAS!
