Halloween in Gilmer is very different from how I grew up having Halloween. I guess no one really trick or treats anymore because its not safe. So what they do instead is they do trunk or treat and the Police Department holds a trick or treating at the Square . It makes me so sad that its not safe enough to do normal door to door trick or treating. So last night was the trunk or treat at the church and its for all 3 wards and anyone else is welcome. Daniel and I decided to do a trunk and pass out candy. We also got all dressed up. But im so mad I had my camera and never took any pictures! So anyways at the Trunk or treat Daniel had the kids play a little game to win candy. It was a lot of fun and to see everyone from the three wards.
After the trunk or Treat Daniel and I and some friends of ours went to a haunted corn maze. It was in Jefferson so about a 50 min drive there . It was pretty cold, good thing Daniel brought an extra coat ☺ But lets just say we had more fun just being together then being at the actual corn maze. Now we got the tickets for free which was amazing but it would not have been worth it if we had to pay for the tickets haha. It was kind of a sad little corn maze. Nothing like the ones in Utah that’s for sure haha, But it was still a blast.
