Daniel and I had the opportunity today to go to a baptism, but the best part was that Daniel was able to baptize the new member and give a short talk. His name is Jarrett and he is 19 years old.
It was about 3 or 4 weeks ago that he was searching for a new church and he made his way to our church building on a Wednesday night which is young men and young woman’s. People directed him to Daniel and Daniel just was being nice and showing him around and invited him to play Basketball with him and some other men the next day and made sure that the missionaries were there as well. Daniel was also going out and helping the missionaries with teaching him and he seemed very interested and would text Daniel lots of questions and just wanted to know more and more. Next thing we know he is being Baptized! Its crazy how he was just looking for a new church to go to and how it all worked out. The lord really did have a hand in this and it was great to see Jarrett want to know more and how he realized that members were just so much more happier then other people. Im so glad that Daniel was able to play apart in helping Jarrett become a member what a blessing!!
